Mundane Monday
Tabitha my amazing Oncologist was first up today. We went though my massive bag of pills, powders and stuff, and Tabitha helped me sort it all out.
90 minutes later, 3 more scripts in tow, it was a very organized Anthony and Sylvia that headed off to my next radiotherapy session.
The upshot of today...pain relief is a good thing, get over worrying about taking it and enjoy the ride. Tabitha gave me a big tick and felt that I was tracking well, and plans were outlined for my final round of Chemo starting next Monday. Oh dear, now I am NOT looking forward to next week, but as I was taught early, this is about one day at a time.
Today was very much a steady as we go day; a dash of business, some rest and naturally, some more rest. Mundane Monday - a welcome relief.
It is sooooo unnerving to not running from one appointment to another, but last week clearly demonstrated those days are behind me for the time being. Eating is taking forever, so things have had to slow down a great deal.
The Voice is done, time to sleep, 7.30 am radiotherapy start.
