Itchy...

Today I am itchy. It has arrived...once again as promised, the skin irritation is moving up a notch. I think the special cream that I purchased 4 weeks ago will have the cap off tonight.

Good excuse to get a back rub Sylv??  She is so exhausted these days she just falls asleep, then tosses and turns all night. Quite a role reversal for the Toop's.

Speaking of Sylvia, while I am home sooking, she has been ripping into things at work, I reckon I will have trouble getting my job back. Go Sylv! And Gen and Suz too, such a joy to observe as the girls start getting their teeth into things, as I fade off into the background focussing on health stuff.

Andy Treloar and Helen did make it today, can't beat country people, especially station people. A life long friend, thanks Andy and Hells for coming all the way down just to see your old mate! Nearly 10 hours round trip, that is true friendship.

Work stuff. Finally got my InsideStory 'special edition' written for Saturday. I owed this to the team to set the record straight after last Wednesday's page 3 article. The Saturday real estate section goes to print on Wednesday night!! It is always a challenge ensuring the InsideStory remains really current, given the deadline is around 3.30pm on Wednesday. Last Wednesday I was not feeling too great, so it took me a few days to digest the "Defection" article...bit slow these days!

I always write my own story...so given my spelling and skills in grammar, I have it triple checked by my team, but like this blog, I write it. I wrote my last InsideStory article a few weeks ago, but had to come back out of winter recess to set the record straight. Such a pain.

Back to more fun stuff. I dropped Black Beauty back to Solitare tonight, I was so keen to get it a couple of weeks ago, that one of the accessories was ordered in and it will be fitted tomorrow.  So if you see someone flogging my Black Beauty tomorrow, it isn't me. The guys have been terrific up there, thanks Andy M for the very cool loan car.

Being sick is keeping me so busy. I need to get my study in or I will be in trouble with Janine...the time is nearing when I may need to use some new skills. I am terrified of people and things in my face...I am assured there will be both for the operation, and after, so I have to get my head right ASAP. My next lesson is coming up soon.

Apart for the constant cough, itchy back and chest, so far so good.

We are in great shape.
