Homestretch round one.....

Mop up those dangerous cancer cells floating around the body, finish the job on the tumor - this is the big week where we hit this cancer with both barrels.

For those new to all this cancer stuff, the radiotherapy directly hits the tumor, while the chemo circulates the body destroying the faster producing cells, affecting both good and bad cells, but hopefully nailing the bad guys.

The effects of radiotherapy are cumulative and run on for a couple of weeks after the treatment starts, similarly with chemo, it takes weeks for the impact of the treatment to work through your system. Hence my hair falling out only last week, some 16 days after the first treatment. Hopefully I will only thin out but we will see.

As for the life after treatment, all this is merely preparatory work for the big operation. At this stage it is set for the 10th August. I have a few weeks to get over the treatment, rebuild an immune system, and then go under the knife to have my insides remodeled.

As I mentioned very early in my blogs, having an operation is a great  indicator as to whether a cure is possible. If everything goes the right way, we will have killed all the cancer, it will not have spread, and we will remove all the affected area. That's the plan.

Just watching 60 minutes while I am typing. Tonight Channel 9 stole my car's identity - 60 minutes calling Black Caviar "Black Beauty." How good was that race...goes to show that a nose counts.

A very quiet weekend, I am laying low, and working through what I have to do. Eating is really important, I have been successful so far in holding the weight on, more cream buns!!!

Sylvia, Gen, Suz and I all had  a great catch up today, had a few visitors and a really chilled weekend.

The next two weeks could be tough. One day at a time. The really good news, I have been getting sleep since changing to slow release pain killers...that has made such a difference, I love my sleep.

Early start tomorrow, BH check in at 8am, massive day tomorrow. Lets think about that tomorrow.....

Sleep well.

  1. hi Charles
Good luck this week we have both been crook and is the last thing you need, but we are both thinking of you .Note: the medicinal "25" Manuka honey $69 at the market $45 at Northpark health food store. Do you have a proper Juicer a Squeezer (not a spinner loses goodness because it destroys the goodness thro heat)You need to avoid all foods that make your system more acidic, so anything green, carrots, touch cabbage ginger surprisingly good is beetroot and a wheat grass shot will go down well and make you feel great (Goodies and Grains)behind Westpac Gouger St they sell the good juicers at reasonable prices as well
Don't forget I have worked on lots of houses shifting energies around and your sister/law is a naturopath / herbalist. If you have time search Royal Rife 1930."Fq machine" (I have one).
