Calm before the Storm

Sunday night, worked through all my work emails and finally caught up. Can not believe how many wonderful emails were in my inbox, thank you so much to all those who have been so generous and supportive, pretty humbling.

This weekend was about family conversations and catching our breath after a full on week of medical reports and news.

Suzannah headed back to Sydney today and will be sorting a few things there, quite a disruption Cancer!

Caught up with our neighbours on the farm, if this isn't the closest place to Paradise I don't know what is. A Bon fire and a BBQ with some great wine, very relaxing and this was the first chance we have had to fill them in on what has been happening over past 12 days.

Messages and phone calls today have been running red hot, unbelievable and very much appreciated. Pretty full on but it seems the Blog has been really appreciated, feedback has been good. Anyway, it is therapy for me, never have been one to keep secrets. Thank goodness I have lived an uncomplicated life.

Tomorrow morning we were to be on the big jet plane, never mind, as explained above, it's not all bad at home!

Poor Sylvia (and Gen & Tom). Sylvia in particular has lived and dreamt of this holiday for a year now. I would normally be briefed in the airport on the way over so it hasn't impacted on me, I didn't get to hear of all the great places we were booked in to see. Sorry Toopie!

Another big week coming...but can't help feeling this is the calm before the storm.
