Suz's birthday tomorrow...
Gen's OS trip has begun, and Suz has her 24th birthday tomorrow.
It is all happening. Tomorrow I have my 2 week follow up appointment with the Prof and hopefully will have my final tube removed from my stomach. I have a lots of questions, and one in particular - how the hell do I get some real sleep!?!?
Today after dropping Gen off at the airport, we headed down to see Anna, Sylvia's Mum who lives in Woodville who has had cancer and is not well. It was great to see her but all is not as you would hope.
On the way back to HQ, the Singapore Airlines plane was just crossing Port Road with Gen, Arabella, Tim and Megan (Thredgold) on board, along with about 50 of Adelaide's business people. I got a pic of it with my iPhone and it was very cool to have that sort of timing, but I am sooooo envious.
Tomorrow I'll give an update on the Prof''s view of the world, and of course, some detail of Suz's birthday.
Now that is the shortest blog ever... I have been asked to keep them going by heaps of you but some will be really brief...
Love,
Anthony
Thanks for keeping it going! Always good to hear about your day....and keep in touch even if its a bit one sided! Thanks for your honesty and being real. X
ReplyDeleteHi mate .. just got back from Birdsville and caught up a bit with the blog .. gr8 to hear things r still on track .. must be a pain (no pun intended) to hav to just play the waiting game so much but u will eventually look back and not really remember the bad times .. at least not too vividly lol .. hope the sleeping issue gets better soon mate , i too hav an active mind at night and therefore hav trouble getting to sleep and hav had some success recently by simply saying (thinking) " I'll worry about that tomorrow, its sleep time" or "I'll fix that tomorrow, its sleep time" every time i start to think about an issue .. i know that doesnt help with thinking about ur illness issues but it might with some other stuff .. this was suggested to me by my psychologist so u probably have already tried it but if not, u never know, it may help a bit ... anyway, better go and try to get rid of all the red dust thats covering everything i took away .. they say the dust never settles at Birdsville .. got news for them, it settles on EVERYTHING lol ... cheers mate, keep hangin in there ... Cam Ayres
